The newly refurbished Bedrooms – Design inspired by Glasgow
The contemporary design of Hilton Glasgow’s new bedrooms is inspired by the Glasgow Style. The Glasgow Style is the highly distinctive form of Art Nouveau developed by Architect, Designer and Artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his circle in the 1890s.
The colour palette used is light and fresh with vibrant pops of colour found in the carpet and upholstery. The Linear design found in Mackintosh furniture designs and interiors inspire the case good designs. Softer, organic shapes synonymous with the Glasgow Style influenced wallcoverings, carpets, soft furnishings and the artwork.
COP26 Legacy & Travel with Purpose
As part of Hilton Glasgow’s ongoing commitment to cut their environmental footprint in half by 2030 Hilton Glasgow recently installed 14 EV charging bays, changed to bulk amenities and installed water fountains in the lobby to move away from single use plastic.
