As hotels continue to refine how they communicate with guests, many are turning to digital solutions that elevate ambience as much as they improve operational efficiency. Holiday Inn Telford is a standout example, recently replacing printed posters with art-grade digital canvases designed to enhance the guest experience from the moment visitors step inside.
The hotel selected Vieunite Pro and the Textura digital canvas to bring a more premium, design-led approach to on-site messaging. The goal was simple: create displays that blend into high-end interiors while giving staff a fast, flexible way to update information remotely.
For David Coe, Group Hotels Operations Director at Southwater Event Group, the visual quality was the first major difference. “It’s the clarity of the image… it actually looks like a piece of artwork… it just looks so, so professional”. This artwork-accurate aesthetic allowed the hotel to place screens in high-traffic areas, including washrooms, without disrupting the carefully designed environment.
The hotel now uses the displays for a wide range of messaging. “We’ve been able to advertise anything… Christmas promotions, leisure club prices, any sort of general guest information” Coe explains. Staff manage all of this through the Vieunite Pro portal, which Coe describes as “super easy”, adding that it “takes five minutes to show somebody else how to upload digital content”.
While the hotel has already reported an uplift in seasonal bookings after installing the canvases, the broader value of Vieunite Pro extends well beyond any single project. Hospitality venues using the platform gain access to a vast curated art library – organised into themed collections – allowing them to enrich ambience with world-class artwork. At the same time, these art-led displays create a more receptive environment for promotional messaging, delivering updates and offers in a way that feels integrated, elegant and far more engaging than typical digital signage.
