As part of Warner Hotels’ ambitious transformation of Thoresby Hall into one of its exclusive Reserve properties, Contract Furniture Group has played a key role in bringing a new level of luxury and sophistication to the historic Nottinghamshire destination.
Working alongside Design Coalition, the Nottingham-based manufacturer was commissioned to deliver bespoke joinery and furniture solutions for several public areas within the hotel, including the newly refurbished Blue Room restaurant.

Designed to complement Thoresby Hall’s heritage architecture while supporting a contemporary guest experience, the standout feature of the space is a striking fixed seating installation, manufactured in Contract Furniture Group’s Nottingham workshop.
Positioned at the heart of the restaurant, the bespoke banquette arrangement introduces an elegant, vintage-inspired character through a series of semi-private dining booths.
Fluted backs, upholstered in Sekers Palazzo Ocean fabric, bring richness and depth to the interior, while low partition panels help define individual seating areas without compromising the openness of the room.
Reeded glass screens, framed in white and enhanced with integrated lighting, complete the feature, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for diners.
The furniture package was further enhanced with White Crystal Marble Table Tops, finished with refined gold edging and paired with Zeus Table Bases in matte black stainless steel with contrasting gold detailing.
Contract Furniture Group also supplied a bespoke waiter station, finished in Deluxe French Grey with a Zinc-effect Laminate Top.
The completed Blue Room successfully balances the grandeur of Thoresby Hall’s historic setting with the comfort and functionality expected of a modern luxury hospitality destination.
The project showcases Contract Furniture Group’s expertise in delivering tailored furniture and joinery solutions for the hospitality sector, combining distinctive design, practical functionality and high-quality craftsmanship.
