GUESTS and visitors to Hilton London Heathrow Airport who’s goal is to enjoy a month of world class football can do just that – thanks to a pop-up pub which will launch later this month.
The hotel has created The Flying Football Bar which will open on November 24 and last for the duration of the international tournament, with the opportunity to watch the games and get into the spirit of the contest.
Along with offering an extensive range of beers, spirits and wines, a special menu has been created which reflects the international nature of football’s biggest contest.
Starters including hot and spicy breaded chicken wings, aromatic duck bao buns with kimchi and loaded nachos are on offer, with a number of favourite main course dishes such as pepperoni flatbread pizzas, hot dogs, cajun chicken or quorn chilli tacos.
Football related décor will also help create the perfect backdrop for the games and the hope now is that it will become a popular spot not just for travellers staying at the hotel but for fans who live locally to the property.
Hilton Area General Manager, Oliver Stockland, is delighted the hotel is going to celebrate the landmark event.
“If you can’t actually travel to see the live games, then the next best thing is to share the experience with other fans in a fun and friendly atmosphere,” he said.
“We think The Flying Football Bar will be the perfect pop-up pub to enjoy all the games and hopefully we will be able to watch England make it right through to the final.”
The award-winning Hilton London Heathrow Airport is a short walk from Terminal 4 via a covered walkway and was named the World’s Leading Airport Hotel five times and Europe’s Leading Airport Hotel for the past eight years.
