Hilton London Heathrow Airport at Terminal 4 at Heathrow Airport has commissioned Beyond Hospitality – A Path to Sustainability, a short film which highlights the importance the hotel puts on protecting the environment.
The movie can be watched on YouTube Channels and social media, showcasing not only the passion and commitment from the team but also how their actions fit perfectly with Hilton Worldwide’s Travel with Purpose strategy.
Beyond Hospitality – A Path to Sustainability shows everything from how the hotel uses electricity from renewable sources to the machine used for food waste.
And it also turns the spotlight on one of its most innovative projects – using the outside space around the hotel for its own chef’s garden, which produces fruit and vegetables which are used in the restaurants.
Key members of staff including Oliver Stockland area general manager for Hilton along with hotel Facilities Manager Mark Hill, are among those who feature in the film, sharing the importance of hospitality embracing these kinds of initiatives.

Mark, who has worked at the hotel for 15 years, has always been passionate about ensuring the hotel operates in a sustainable way, introducing measures “which are in line with Hilton’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy to drive responsible travel and tourism globally.”
Beyond Hospitality was commissioned by the hotel to consolidate its position as a hotel which is dedicated to being environmentally friendly wherever possible and Oliver Stockland believes this is of vital importance to the hospitality industry as a whole.
“The world is changing and there’s an expectation for the travel and hospitality industry to be moving towards a more sustainable environment,” he said.
