Collectively we offer contract quality custom made decorative lighting, professional architectural lighting, and customised illuminated mirrors. We also provide wiring accessories, IOT automation controls and software systems.
Baulmann is our oldest partner and is a leading manufacturer in the decorative lighting industry, one of only a few who actually still manufacturers in Europe.
Baulmann Leuchten produce contract quality decorative lighting and mirrors. A family business, they manufacture 100% in Germany and have done so for over seventy years. Since their inception they have followed the principles of a circular economy by designing decorative lighting and mirrors to be serviceable i.e., they can be maintained to extend still further their working life.
Located in Sundern, Germany, they develop and manufacture lighting concepts for hotels, restaurants and bars, cruise liners, offices and shops, as well as retirement and care homes.
Baulmann manufacture using the philosophies of a circular economy, which can best be described as “the design of a product that is durable, serviceable, reusable and recyclable”.
All their products are produced to “contract quality” levels, meaning they “design in” features that make them more robust, which in turn extends their natural working life. Contract quality is a level of quality all hotels need to allow them to operate cost effectively over a long term.
Baulmann “design out waste” by manufacturing products only as required, they do not oversupply. Where a design allows, they will utilise materials that can be recycled at end of life. Baulmann also operate a direct distribution chain which helps lower end costs and, reduce carbon emissions.
Attention to the origins of a product by taking an ethical view of its manufacturing credentials will help to lower the long-term maintenance costs of a hotel. It will also help to protect the environment.
