Today’s trend in minimalist and open space interior design, while aesthetically pleasing and desirable, does come with a set of acoustic challenges. The hard materials of glass, marble, concrete, and stone create poor acoustics in the room, disturbing a professional atmosphere, intimate restaurant experience or relaxing moment in your comforting home. The critical fix to poor room acoustics is absorption, to prevent sound waves from bouncing back and forth.
Casalis’ textile panels offer an excellent solution for acoustic issues in any space. Our state-of-the-art, 3D woven textiles in combination with acoustic absorbers of 50 mm in thickness, absorb more than 90% of sound waves; what is not absorbed, is reflected in diverse directions. Thanks to our easy installation kit, the panels can be placed in any room, immediately altering their acoustics. Using a specially developed aluminium profile made of 80 % recycled aluminium, a fire class A acoustic absorber and a stunning 3D textile cover designed by Aleksandra Gaca, our acoustic panels deliver two core features: noise reduction and decoration. ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE
Our acoustic panels offer outstanding performance, both in absorption and diffusion of sound. Thanks to our 3D woven fabric, the surface of the acoustic element increases drastically. In combination with our acoustic absorber (thickness 50 mm), our panels achieve an Alpha -w value of around *0.90 to 0.95 in acoustic performance testing, this means that Casalis’ acoustic element is absorbing more than 90% of the sound, which comes in contact with it. What is not absorbed is reflected in different directions, thanks to our revolutionary 3D fabric.
*The alpha-w value measured on a scale from 0 to 1. 0 is comparable with a closed window, bouncing the sound at 100 %. 1 is comparable with an open window, where all sound is escaping outside.
EASY INSTALLATION KIT
Casalis has developed a handy installation system that allows our panels to be installed and removed with a simple click! Thanks to the specially designed aluminium profile system, the single elements can be simply added to the frames at the top and sides, to create a flawless connection. The lightweight system allows for easy dismounting and reassembly, for convenient placement from one room to another.
CUSTOMISABLE IN SHAPES AND APPLICATION
Our acoustic panels are fully customisable in size and available in various forms, colours and applications. We can deliver them as sliding panels, free-standing panels, full wall and ceiling mounts, and as room, desk and office dividers. Our acoustic textile panels can accommodate multiple modern fixtures. They can be custom-fit to integrate switches, power points, sprinklers, fire and smoke detectors, ventilation ducts, audio and video equipment etc.
STATE-OF-THE-ART, TEXTILE COVERS IN MULTIPLE COLOURS
Committed to delivering the best acoustic panels without compromising the visual aesthetics of the interior, Casalis invited renowned textile designer Aleksandra Gaca to develop various textile covers in multiple colours. The 4 collections of acoustic panels are called: Ondo, Cello, Leevn and Slumber.
SAFETY
Safety is of primary concern for Casalis, that is why our textile panels have undergone extensive fire and regulatory testing to ensure it is certified to industry standards. Created from flame retardant polyester Trevira CS yarn, ONDO and LEEVN are classified B-s2,d0 to the European Harmonized Standard.
COST-SAVING
Thanks to the outstanding acoustic performance, we can minimise the installation in terms of m2 and still achieve excellent acoustics in the room. Thanks to the absorption capacity of more than 90 %, it takes fewer panels to achieve the desired acoustic results.
